How to prepare Shui Xian oolong tea
- Add 3-5 grams of tea per cup (250ml)
- Use water at about 90°C
- Leave to steep for 3-4 minutes
Origin of Shui Xian oolong tea
Shui Xian is a cultivar of the plant Camellia sinensis. Traditionally, it comes from the Wuyi Mountains (Fujian, China), but this version comes from the Yunnan region.
Yunnan, known for its pu-erh tea, also produces high-quality oolong tea, often developed by Taiwanese producers in the 1990s.
The name Shui Xian can be translated as "narcissus" or "water sprite."
When to drink Shui Xian oolong tea
