Properties and benefits of black tea. Black tea has many properties, so much so that the number of consumers continues to increase, considering it an authentic panacea for the well-being of the body. More and more often we hear that black tea helps you lose weight: according to some scientific studies, regular consumption of this drink can in fact improve the distribution of body fat and therefore have positive effects on body weight in general. Those who decide to undergo a diet or improve their diet can therefore start drinking black tea to lose weight and feel fitter. Among the benefits of black tea, its ability to improve cognitive functions also stands out: the caffeine present, although certainly in smaller quantities than coffee, contributes to the functioning of cognitive and brain activities, also acting on mood and level of attention. Additionally, flavonoids, a specific type of antioxidant it contains, may help improve brain function by facilitating blood flow to the brain. Finally, even if many don't know it, black tea for hair is a real panacea because it has an important molecule to inhibit DHT, or dihydrotestosterone, the hormone responsible for hair loss. Black tea how to prepare it: For a correct preparation of a cup of black tea, the water must be brought to the boil and then left to cool until it reaches a temperature between 70°-90° C. The less it is left to infuse, the lighter the tea is: in general, in fact, tea that requires an infusion of no more than 2 minutes is stimulating, while tea that requires an infusion of 5 minutes or more has a calming effect. In this case it is recommended to leave it to infuse for about 3 minutes. Once ready, it can be served plain or with the addition of lemon or milk, and sweetened to taste.
