Modica PGI pomegranate chocolate from Antica Dolceria Rizza is born from the most authentic Sicilian confectionery tradition. Produced in the historic heart of Modica, it follows the ancient cold-processing method that characterizes the famous Modica chocolate, preserving the aromatic qualities of the cocoa and giving the bar its typical grainy and crumbly texture. Made from bitter cocoa paste, sugar, and natural pomegranate flavoring, it offers a unique sensory experience: the deep and slightly bitter flavor of cocoa (min. 60%) meets the sweet-tart and fruity notes of pomegranate, creating a refined, fragrant, and persistent balance on the palate. The absence of added fats enhances the authenticity of the raw materials, resulting in a pure, artisanal chocolate with a distinctive aromatic profile.
