90% Modica dark chocolate, certified PGI, represents the purest essence of the Modica chocolate tradition. Made exclusively with bitter cocoa paste and sugar, without added cocoa butter, it follows the ancient cold-processing method, which avoids conching and fully preserves the natural aromas, properties of cocoa, and the characteristic opaque, shiny appearance.

With a minimum cocoa content of 90%, the bar releases deep, aromatic notes: intense, persistent, slightly tannic, and naturally bitter, with toasted hints and aromatic nuances typical of unconched cocoa. The texture is grainy, crumbly, and pleasantly rough to the bite, a hallmark of Modica chocolate.

With a rich and balanced nutritional profile for lovers of extreme dark chocolate: 2445 kJ / 591 kcal, 46.8 g fat (of which 28.8 g saturated), 22.6 g carbohydrates (10.2 g sugars), 14.4 g fiber, and 12.6 g protein, with 0 g salt. The high fiber and protein content makes it an ideal tasting chocolate, also paired with aged rums, dessert wines, intense teas, and dried fruit. May contain traces of nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios).
