The Fleur de sel of the Algarve is called in Portugal the “sun cream”, and represents a very precious salt, known since the ancient Romans. It has recently been rediscovered by chefs around the world. It shows a crunchy texture, a mild flavor and an ivory white color. Very rich in magnesium and potassium, and goes well with any type of dish.
The plantations of this tea are located in the highlands of Kaproret, Saramek and Chemase in the Kericho district. Due to their striking golden leaf tips, strong and slightly floral flavor, these are often mistaken for Chinese Yunnan teas.
The red vine, known by the botanical name vitis vinifera, through its leaves gives an infusion useful for its protective properties of the blood circulatory system and capillaries. It is known for its beneficial action that counteracts water retention, varicose veins, swelling of the limbs and cellulite. The decoction for external applications is also useful.
