Maple cinnamon latte: an enveloping taste
We like to dedicate a post from time to time to spiced milk drinks (reminiscent of those marketed by a famous chain). They are perfect for pampering yourself during autumn and winter. Today, we thought of one that will make you think of Canada and the foliage atmosphere: maple cinnamon latte.
This is a delicious latte flavoured with maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon. Let's see together how to prepare it.
Let's start with the ingredients, for each cup of maple cinnamon latte you will need:
- 1 cup of milk (you can also use vegetable milk if you don't consume foods of animal origin)
- 1 cup of espresso (instant coffee is also fine)
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (do not overdo it if you do not want the end result to be too sweet)
- Vanilla (in berries or extract)
Preparation:
To prepare the flavoured base for your latte, add the maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla to the cup. Slowly pour in the coffee to dissolve the ingredients, stirring repeatedly until well blended.
Heat the milk without bringing it to the boil for at least 4-6 min, once removed from the heat, froth it using a whisk.
Slowly pour the whipped milk over the flavoured coffee cream in each cup. You can decorate with cinnamon powder and/or bitter cocoa. If you want to make it even more delicious, you can add a touch of whipped cream, or chocolate topping.

Those who have to limit their caffeine consumption can use barley coffee or decaffeinated coffee as an alternative; the end result will still be pleasant.
