How to prepare cardamom seed infused water
To prepare your cardamom flavored water, you will need to use whole green cardamom seeds, to be crushed at the time of preparation using a pestle.
You can choose the "basic" version using only water and cardamom seeds, to sweeten with brown sugar or other sweetener of your choice, if you are unable to drink it plain. A sort of Elaichi tea cold, but without tea, alternatively you can prepare your own flavored water by adding other spices or fresh fruit.
To start with you could try a water flavored with cardamom seeds with cranberries and orange. Mixing a spoonful of crushed cardamom seeds, half an orange cut into thin slices and a large handful of blueberries in a liter and a half of water.
Sticking on the subject of citrus fruits, you could flavor your water with cardamom seeds ( 4 seeds) and the juice of a lime.
Also excellent in the version with apple (perhaps dehydrated) and hibiscus flowers (a spoon as for cardamom seeds), this version has a shorter cold infusion time than to the others, you can enjoy it after 30-60 minutes of rest in the fridge. For the others we advise you to wait at least 12 hours.
For preparation we recommend using a glass carafe with a stopper or covering it with transparent film.
