Let's prepare a matcha tea smoothie
A few weeks ago we offered you matcha tea in an iced tea version, today we thought we would dedicate our post to matcha tea-based smoothies, ideal for a fresh, tasty and well-being breakfast or snack.
One of the most popular matcha tea-based smoothies is the banana one, the dense and creamy result is guaranteed, rich in vitamins and antioxidants, naturally sweet and delicious. Final touch? A pinch of cinnamon (if you like). It's really worth trying.
Also excellent in alternative versions with the addition of coconut (fresh or dehydrated) or avocado.
Also ideal for supporting circulation, especially on very hot days, the smoothie made with matcha tea and blueberries (which you can also add to the banana version). A particular variant that we recommend you experiment with is the one with courgettes (max 150g for every 250g of liquid).
"Popeye" teaches us that spinach is good for you and can give us a boost of energy, so why not also try a smoothie made with fresh spinach and matcha tea? The combination may seem unusual but the taste will surprise you.
To prepare your matcha tea smoothies you can use both animal milk and your favorite vegetable drink, kefir or yogurt (also in a vegan version).
Always choose fresh, well-ripe fruit and vegetables. In the case of bananas and mangoes in particular, let them rest in the freezer before processing the ingredients in the mixer or blender, for a denser result.
The proposed combinations are also excellent for preparing smoothies.
The matcha smoothie can also be used as a pre-workout snack, especially in the banana-based version, perhaps even with the addition of a spoonful of peanut butter, for an extra touch of energy.
