Cinnamon flavored water to start the day
You may have read dozens of articles about the possible benefits of warm water with lemon in the morning, and maybe you've even tried to experiment with its daily use, but have you ever considered the idea of starting the day by drinking cinnamon-infused water ?
Why drink cinnamon-infused water in the morning?
Numerous benefits are attributed to cinnamon, from calming and anti-inflammatory properties to metabolism-stimulating ones.
Like the most famous lemon water, cinnamon-infused water is considered a support for the diet (which as we always want to underline it must be varied, balanced and modeled on your specific characteristics) but also for digestion, and unlike the first it has a sweeter and more aromatic aroma and is less aggressive for the palate, the teeth and for our digestive system , a factor not to be underestimated if we consider that this type of drink is usually consumed on an empty stomach.

How to make cinnamon infused water:
You can use either powdered cinnamon or whole cinnamon sticks (use 1-2 sticks or one or two teaspoons of ground cinnamon per liter of water).
Pour the cinnamon and water into a pan sufficiently large and let boil over low heat for about 20 minutes. Strain the mixture before drinking it or storing it in an airtight glass container.
If it is too harsh for your tastes, you can sweeten your infused water with honey or maple syrup. It can be consumed both hot and cold according to your preferences.
Water infused with cinnamon and turmeric
To make your morning detox water you could also mix another spice with well-known benefits into the infusion: turmeric. Add it in the same quantities, one or two teaspoons for each liter of water. To both versions, if you wish, you can add fresh lemon juice or thin slices of apple.
