This exceptional Chinese white tea is grown in selected gardens on quality plantations. Its goodness comes from the unopened buds, chosen to be processed as Cui Min tea, from the spring harvest, between the end of March and the beginning of April. The buds are hand-picked, and the quality of the tea leaves that come from them shows a greenish and whitish color, which makes them seem less oxidized than other Chinese teas. Once infused, the leaves give a clear and bright color from which its name derives, since Cui Ming means "bright emerald". In terms of taste, the result is a delicate but intensely aromatic and smooth white tea in the mouth, with floral nuances, a final note of hay and a slight astringency. Its aftertaste is pleasant and lingers for a long time, like the scent of Cui Min. The finesse of this tea will surprise you, providing an exclusive experience that goes towards perfection for those who love white teas.

Where does Cui Min white tea come from

This tea comes from a tradition born in the heart of China, where for centuries the spring buds for the most precious teas have been hand-picked. Cui Min originates in the countryside of the Chinese province of Hunan, from the custom of hand-picking only the young unopened buds, in the months of March and April (First Flush). After harvesting, the first fresh buds and unopened leaves are subjected to a process of careful withering, hand-rolling and drying, obtaining a high-quality white tea. The artisanal processing allows to maintain the floral and vegetal notes, in addition to the sweet and refined nuances of this aromatic tea. Several plantations dedicated to Cui Min white tea are historically located in the southeast among the Chinese mountains, at an altitude of approximately 750 to 1,000 meters.
