The Rose is a perennial plant of the Rosaceae family, of which there are over three hundred species and thousands of cultivars. It can appear in the form of erect shrubs, climbing, thorny or not. The orange tree is the Citrus sinensis, belonging to the Rutaceae family. Born in China as a hybrid between the pomelo and the mandarin, over the centuries it has developed many varieties of orange. Sweet oranges are distinguished from bitter oranges.
The hibiscus plant is Hibiscus sabdariffa, of the Malvaceae family. It grows in tropical and subtropical regions around the world. The calyx and flowers of this plant are used as flavourings, colorants and for the preparation of the famous hibiscus tea.
The cinnamon tree is Cinnamomum zeylanicum, an evergreen of the Lauraceae family. Its bark gives high aromatic properties, which create the spice known to us. It grows in moist, well-drained soil, and reaches about 15 meters in height.
Almond seeds derive from Prunus dulcis, of the Rosaceae family. The plant reaches a height of up to 3-4 meters, and gives the famous light pink or white flowers. The fruit is a drupe which, when ripe, opens the outer covering and reveals the stone. Almonds are not true nuts but seeds enclosed in the hard fruit.
The redcurrant is Ribes rubrum, a perennial plant belonging to the Grossulariaceae family, native to Western Europe. This small shrub is very branched and prefers the winter climate.

The infusion is obtained by placing approximately 3-5 grams of the Vanilla, Cinnamon and Almond mixture with water at 100 °C in a cup (250 ml).

Leave to infuse for 10 to 12 minutes before drinking. Add honey or sugar, if desired.
